Nick Taylor – Head Instructor and founder
The founder of Connick Ski, Nick’s infectious passion for skiing, coupled with his genuine love of teaching and coaching, guarantees that your skiing will be taken to new levels. Nick holds the highest level of ski instructor qualification (BASI International Ski Teacher Diplome Level 4; full French equivalence; Snowsport Scotland race coach qualification).
Kathryn Mason – Guide and Chalet Manager
Kathryn originally came to La Chaumiere as a guest and is now starting her eight season as a Connick Ski team member. She is the first point of contact and handles all the administration in the summer months. Her Irish charm and verbosity always ensure a warm welcome and a good ‘craic’! Kathryn is qualified through the British and Irish systems (ISIA International Ski Teacher, Level 3). In addition she is a Director of the Irish Association of Snowsports Instructors.
Roland Raphoz – Instructor
Roland is a fully qualified French Diplome instructor and previously worked with the Ecole de Ski Internationale for many years. Now in his fourth season for Connick Ski, Roland’s blend of French charm and his Aussie humour makes him a firm favourite amongst the guests. He is fluent in English, despite being married to an Australian and living there for many years! He now resides in the nearby lakeside town of Evian-les-Bains. Having grown up in the mountains of the Portes du Soleil he knows its every nook and cranny like the back of his hand, opening up every off-piste exploration opportunity.
Tom Wilkes - Instructor

Wilkes first came to Connick Ski as a chalet helper six years ago. After working his way through the BASI system he now holds the highest level Ski instructor qualification ISTD.
